SHIPPING AGREEMENT
When you order hatching eggs, you agree to the following shipping terms & conditions. There are no exceptions. By making payment, you acknowledge that you have read, and do hereby accept all terms and conditions contained in this Shipping Agreement.
Broken/Lost eggs:
All eggs are carefully wrapped in bubble wrapping by hand and secured into a carton which is then secured snugly in a box. We make our best efforts to prevent the eggs from shaking within the box during shipping. With that said, if the post office loses or damages your package, all packages are insured for purchase cost. YOU are responsible for filing a claim with the shipping service (e.g. USPS) to obtain a refund. We suggest taking many photos of any damage for a claim. Once eggs are out of my hands, we are no longer responsible.
Unhatched Eggs:
We are NOT responsible for hatch rate. The post office can be hard on eggs and air cells are extremely fragile. We do our best to pack them securely but if not delivered/handled with care (or if by some means delivered late) it greatly effects hatch rate and is totally out of our control.
Extra Eggs:
We try to keep shipping at 25$. We add extra eggs when available and if they will fit. Sometimes, there are so many eggs in your order that there just isnt any spare room in the box to safely add anymore eggs. But you will always receive the eggs you order and the breeds you choose. We will not substitute a different breed of eggs without your permission.

We have Marans in black, black copper, blue copper,and splash. Our Marans come from a variety of quality bloodlines (Bev Davis, Julie Akers, and Greenfire Farms to name a few) and can lay dark eggs 5-8 on the marans scale....some with speckles!

We own a small 46 acre Farm in Breckinridge county, Ky. We raise and breed a variety of livestock...mini jersey cattle, katahdin sheep, and nubian goats.. We also raise and breed border collies! I have had chickens moat of my life and was excited to get a small flock started in 2018. Since then, my eyes have been opened to the colorful world of different chicken breeds as well as their colorful eggs! In 2020, I began a mission to get some breeds that were beautiful and that laid a variety of colorful eggs. By word of mouth and a LOT of Google searching, I found the breeds I wanted. This was the start of Pocketful of Sunshine Farm! We are a year-round Poultry Farm that offers locals a variety of fresh eggs fir eating as well as hatching! If you are obsessed with having one of those baskets of colorful eggs you see online...then look no further. We raise and breed Ameraucana, Marans (French), Crested Cream Legbar, and a variety of gorgeous Easter Eggers and Olive Eggers. For more information, get in touch!
